To be the leading institution in forensic medicine, setting standards for excellence in education, research, and professional practice while contributing to justice and public safety.
To advance the science and practice of forensic medicine through comprehensive education, innovative research, professional development, and collaborative partnerships. We strive to support the justice system by ensuring the highest quality of forensic medical services and expertise.
BAFM particularly includes specialist doctors in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. But it likes to bring specialist doctors from other disciplines like pathology, radiology, microbiology, gynaecology etc. under a common umbrella to enhance communication between these disciplines for the improvement of medico-legal services.
